Staples Mill ramp from I-64 to close April 8-9

Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation will close the ramp from Staples Mill Road to I-64 west for a lighting installation project April 8 and 9 from 10 p.m. to 5 am.
The work is part of an ongoing lighting installation project in the area and requires a ramp closure to begin installation of a high mast light pole.
Instead of using the ramp, drivers should continue north on Staples Mill Road and make a right turn onto Southside Avenue to Northside Avenue, then make a left turn to take Staples Mill Road to the I-64 west ramp.
