St. Anne’s-Belfield climbs out of hole to beat St. Catherine’s 68-39

St. Anne’s-Belfield dug itself out of a first quarter hole and pulled out a 68-39 win over St. Catherine’s for a Virginia girls basketball victory on February 11.

St. Catherine’s authored a promising start, taking advantage of St. Anne’s-Belfield 14-13 at the end of the first quarter.

The STAB Saints fought to a 32-23 halftime margin at the Saints’ expense.

St. Anne’s-Belfield struck to a 53-28 bulge over St. Catherine’s as the fourth quarter began.
