Spanberger to host telephone town hall May 4

U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger will host a telephone town hall from 6:10 p.m. to 7:10 p.m., Monday, May 4 with business leaders and government officials to discuss the challenges facing Central Virginia small businesses, healthcare systems, and workers as the COVID-19 crisis continues.
During the event, Spanberger will provide a brief update and answer questions about the ongoing response at the federal level. She also will welcome updates from Steven C. Yeakel, president & CEO of the Virginia Association of Community Banks; Dan Roehl, vice president of government relations for the National Restaurant Association; Dr. Megan Healy, chief workforce development advisor for Virginia; and Gena Berger, the state’s deputy secretary of Health and Human Resources.
