Spanberger to host community prescription drug forum in Henrico Tuesday

U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger (D-7th District) will host a community prescription drug forum Nov. 26 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Glen Allen Library. The event, held in conjunction with Virginia AARP, will conclude a two-day, nine-stop healthcare tour of the district, during which Spanberger is visiting a number of clinics and businesses to learn more about health and wellness challenges faces citizens and providers.

The event at Glen Allen Library is open to the public. Spanberger will discuss her work this year in Congress aimed at lowering the cost of prescription drugs for Central Virginia families, seniors, and those with chronic conditions. Community members will be able to share their stories, ask questions, and learn more about Spanberger’s efforts.
