Southern States has sold its Henrico headquarters for nearly $15 million to Thalhimer Realty Partners, Inc. but will continue to operate from the building, located at 6606 West Broad Street, the companies announced yesterday.
TRP, the investment and development subsidiary of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, purchased the property for $14,745,000. Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer will handle leasing and property management services for the building, which will be known as Brookfield Place.
In addition to Southern States, the 206,068 square-foot office building also includes Virginia Urology, Wiley Wilson and Keener Communications, among other tenants. Southern States signed a long-term lease to remain in the building and will be restacking and renovating its office space. The property is 70 percent leased; office space between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet it available.
