UPDATE: NOV. 21, 12:45 P.M. – Work on the project has extended into Nov. 21 but is expected to be completed by the end of the day, according to Henrico officials.

South Laburnum Avenue will be closed at its railroad crossing near Interstate 64 from 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18 through 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 for improvements. Crews for Norfolk Southern will replace the crossing’s panels.
A detour will direct motorists around the area via Nine Mile Road and I-64.
