‘Snow Globe Santa’ to visit West Broad Village Dec. 12

Snow Globe Santa is prepped for COVID-friendly visits at West Broad Village Dec. 12 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Santa will visit with children from inside a life-size snow globe, as a way to ensure COVID-19 safety.
Proceeds from tickets purchased by those who reserve time to speak with and have their pictures taken with Santa will benefit Mason's Toy Box Foundation. The organization’s 2020 goal is to reach $10,000 through its virtual toy drive online at masonstoybox.org, and visits with Santa will help them reach that goal. Donations are tax-deductible.
Mason’s Toy Box Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides emotional, experiential, and medical support to families statewide engaged in pediatric medical life-altering struggles. The organization offers gifts and resources to provide relief in response to a pediatric patient family's emotional and financial burdens.
The organization is named for Mason Clark Thomas, who died at home in Virginia in 2011. He had spent significant time in the hospital, and as he received numerous toys there, he shared them with others who were not as fortunate – until all children in his hospital ward had some.
