Slow rolls on I-64 in Henrico to impact traffic this weekend

Dominion Energy has scheduled a series of slow rolls on Interstate 64 in Henrico County this weekend, Feb. 29 and Mar. 1, to facilitate electric wire pulling work. Drivers should expect delays in 15-minute windows (with 45-minute lifts in between to allow normal traffic flow) between 6:30 a.m. and noon both days.
A slow roll is when police cars guide traffic at a speed below the posted speed limit for a specified distance.
The goal of the project is to replace the wires to meet current electrical and safety standards.
