UR, Sierra Club team up for Big Yard Sale May 20

The University of Richmond "Big Yard Sale" (a sell-off of student discards) returns May 20 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the east concourse of Robins Stadium. Signs will be posted to direct attendees.
This will be the 24th year that the University of Richmond and Sierra Club Falls of the James Group have joined forces to recycle the goods left by departing students back into the community; except for a small sale last July, this year's sale is the first BYS since 2019.
Sale items include clothing, shoes, household goods, linens, office supplies, kitchen utensils, cookware, sporting goods, small shelving, electronics, books, lamps, microwaves, and mini-refrigerators.
Proceeds benefit UR Rethink Waste programs and Sierra Club Falls of the James Group programs. For details, call 502-9502.
