Short Pump Macy's to host back-to-school shopping event

On Aug. 18, Macy’s Short Pump Town Center will partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond to welcome 25 middle school students for an exclusive shopping experience at the store.
Each student will receive a $200 Macy’s gift card for shopping at the event, which will take place before the store opens. Macy’s colleagues will be paired with students to help them build their back-to-school wardrobes.
Macy's also will present a $5,000 donation to BGCMR, which helps provide a positive, enriching and safe environment during non‐school hours and serves approximately 1,200 Central Virginia youth each year.
