Shooting in Highland Springs leaves one injured

A man was injured early Thursday when a shot fired into a residence struck him.
It happened at about 12:30 a.m., Feb. 17, in the area near East Nine Mile Road and Garfield Avenue. The man was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to Henrico Police.
