Sheetz raising money to support children in need

Customers at Sheetz’s 720-plus stores across six states can make a donation at the check-out by adding funds to their purchase. The money will then go towards the purchase of clothing, toys and other basic necessities for children in need. Last year, customers were able to raise more than $1.7 million for children in need.
In addition to donations at the check-out, customers also may donate online through the Sheetz For the Kidz website.
The Sheetz For the Kidz charity was created in 1992 by local store employees who wanted to find a way to help their community. The organization is independent of the Sheetz Corporation and works with a variety of local and national children’s charities to ensure that children have access to the resources they need.
To date, the Sheetz For the Kidz charity has positively impacted more than 170,000 children living in communities across the six states in which Sheetz operates.
