Restaurant and convenience store chain Sheetz will open a new Henrico location July 22.
The new store, located at 55 South Airport Drive in Sandston, near Richmond International Airport, will host grand opening festivities beginning at 9 a.m. that will include a variety of prize giveaways – among them, $1,500 in gift cards to the store.
Sheetz will offer attendees samples of its food and beverages during the event, and all customers that day will receive free self-serve coffee and soda all day.
Sheetz will donate $2,500 to hunger-relief organization Feed More. Customers attending the grand opening are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item to the food bank, and those who do so will receive a Sheetz-branded thermal bag, while supplies last between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The company also will donate $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Virginia.
Sheetz currently operates 630 store locations in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland, with all locations open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
