Seven more cases of COVID reported in Henrico schools since Oct. 11

Seven additional cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Henrico schools since Oct. 11, according to the school system.

All but one of the cases involved a school employee. Three cases were reported Oct. 19.

The new cases were confirmed:
• Oct. 15 at Ridge Elementary (an employee who was last in the building Oct. 9);
• Oct. 15 at Skipwith Elementary (an employee who was last in the building Oct. 14);
• Oct. 16 at Ratcliffe Elementary (an employee who was last in the building Oct. 13);
• Oct. 16 at Seven Pines Elementary (an employee who was last in the building Oct. 14);
• Oct. 19 at Glen Allen Elementary (an employee who was last in the building Oct. 8);
• Oct. 19 at Lakeside Elementary (an adult who was last in the building Oct. 12);
• Oct. 19 at Rolfe Middle (an employee who was last in the building Oct. 16).

The new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases in Henrico’s public schools to 42 at 32 different schools since Aug. 12, joining these that were reported earlier:
