Senior community celebrates license with free gas

To celebrate Commonwealth Senior Living at the West End’s new two-year license from the Virginia Department of Social Services, Commonwealth Senior Living’s President and COO Earl Parker visited from Charlottesville Sept. 22 to pump a free tank of gas for all of the center’s employees.
Only a fraction of senior living communities receive the state designation, which is given for outstanding performance in caring for seniors; solid management practices; and for exceeding expectations set by the state.
