Section of Mill Road closed for repaving through Aug. 20

Mill Road between Mountain Road and Mill Place Drive in Glen Allen will be closed to through traffic until Sunday, Aug. 20 for repaving.
A detour is directing motorists around the work zone through Mill Place, Slenderleaf Drive and Mountain Road. The Henrico County Department of Public Works started work Aug. 17 and expects to complete the repaving before the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 21. Glen Allen Elementary School is located just north of the work zone.
