Section of Hungary Spring to be closed Sept. 30-Oct. 4 for sewer system improvements

Hungary Spring Road between West Broad Street and Skipwith Road will be closed to through traffic, beginning Monday, Sept. 30, for sewer system improvements.
The Department of Public Utilities expects the work to be complete and the road to reopen Friday, Oct. 4. Crews will be working on Hungary Spring between Prestwick and East Yardley roads as part of a sewer rehabilitation project for the Enterprise Parkway area.
During the closure, through traffic will be detoured from Hungary Spring via West Broad, Parham Road and Skipwith. School buses and emergency vehicles will be able to access homes and other properties off Hungary Spring via Prestwick and Chowning Road.
