Richmond Volleyball Club recently presented its "Love of the Game" award to two seniors in its program – Gabby Chen and Michael Schneider (pictured above) – who were selected for demonstrating good sportsmanship, teamwork and a strong work ethic.
Chen and Schneider each receive a $1,500 scholarship. RVC is located in Lakeside.
Admission is $5 for adults and children 14 and older and free for children 13 and younger. Admission includes a raffle ticket, admission to the haunted house, dog costume contest, live music, and more. Officials from the city of Richmond broke ground Aug. 28 at Bryan Park on the 13-mile portion of the trail that will run through the city, connecting with the Henrico portion in Lakeside.
