Richmond Symphony Chorus to hold audition in Henrico in August

The Richmond Symphony Chorus will hold auditions at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1400 Horsepen Road in Henrico, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.Aug. 16 and 23.
The chorus rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings from late August through May at the Dominion Energy Center or Epiphany Lutheran Church. Additional rehearsals take place just prior to performances.

Recent chorus performances with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra included Brahms’ Requiem and a concert version of Bizet’s “Carmen,” in addition to its annual performances of Handel’s Messiah and the “Let It Snow” Holiday Pops programs.
This season, the chorus will celebrate its 50th anniversary with April performances of Haydn’s Creation and close the season in May with Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
