Richmond Elks Lodge delivers Thanksgiving dinners to Henrico fire stations

Members of the Richmond Elks Lodge No. 45 delivered Thanksgiving dinners to five Henrico fire stations last month. Lodge members took turkey, ham and sides to the stations and also delivered a turkey to the emergency room staff at a local hospital.
The Richmond Elks Lodge relocated from the Innsbrook area to the Virginia Center area in June of last year. The organization traces its roots to 1886. Today, its program support local veterans, children and teens (including scholarships for graduating high school seniors), local schools and other local charities (including in years past Safe Harbor, the Faison School for Autism, St. Joseph's Villa and others).
