Richmond Beer Trail passport offers prizes for check-ins

Users can download the free Richmond Region Beer Trail passport app, and after checking in at five breweries on the trail, win a free Richmond Region Beer Trail hat or beanie. The Richmond Region Beer Trail was launched in 2016 and includes more than 35 breweries, making it the largest of more than 20 beer trails in Virginia.
“We’re very proud of our award-winning local brewing community,” said Jack Berry, Richmond Region Tourism president and CEO. “The new mobile passport will help introduce new and returning visitors and residents to the region’s thriving beer scene.”
Those who win prizes can collect them at the Richmond Region Tourism Visitor Center at the Robinson House, beside the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Hats and beanies also can be mailed to visitors.
