Reynolds to host Virginia Inclusion Summit

Table of Contents

The inaugural Virginia Inclusion Summit will take place Jan. 25 at Reynolds Community College’s Parham Road Campus (1651 E. Parham Road). The program, sponsored by the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, will bring together higher education students and administrators, workplace professionals, and government employees for a day of learning, sharing, and connecting.

The Summit will focus on current events and identify best practices to help institutions across Virginia become more equitable and inclusive, providing opportunities for attendees to develop innovative solutions to challenges they face. Highlighted by a keynote from Dr. Michael “Mykee” Fowlin, the event will include interactive breakout sessions, along with opportunities to network across sectors.

Through workshops, retreats, and customized programs, the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities works with schools, businesses, and communities to address prejudices, in all forms, in order to improve academic achievement, increase workplace productivity, and enhance local trust.
