Reynolds CC to offer floral design course

Reynolds Community College will offer a 14-week “Introduction to Floral Design” class as part of its spring semester offerings.

“Introduction to Floral Design” is being offered on the Parham Road Campus on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 9:05 p.m. starting Jan. 24, and on the Goochland Campus on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 9:05 p.m. starting Jan. 23.  David Pippin, well-known in Richmond’s horticultural world, is the instructor. Pippin has designed arrangements for the Governor’s Mansion, has his own floral design business (David Pippin Inc.) and has taught hundreds of workshops across the state.

Pippin was born and raised in Louisa County. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education. Prior to founding David Pippin, Inc. in 2000, he worked and became known for his knowledge and creative talents in a variety of horticultural and education venues.
