Lanay Café, 2810 N. Parham Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: cutting boards on front line are heavily scratched; low boy unit has a torn gasket; observed debris/stains on shelves under the handsink and slicer, in between equipment on cookline, outside of microwave, on toaster oven next to the handsink, outside and under grill, under fryers, on hood filters and on pipes on the cookline; observed debris under coffee machine in the dining area and outside of equipment on a clean rack in the dish area; observed chipping paint on walls throughout the kitchen; low grouting found on floors in the dish area.

KinderCare Learning Center, 11115 Nuckols Road – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: the facility does not have a certified food protection manager.

Frank’s West, 11238 Patterson Avenue – No violations reported during a follow-up inspection.

New Chinese Chef, 403-A N. Ridge Road – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

Brookdale West End Richmond, 1800 Gaskins Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: exterior of waring blender, can opener holder, exterior of kettle, fryer cabinet, stove drip tray, holding cabinet and chemical collie need cleaning; grout is missing between tiles under the three-compartment sink; ceiling panels above the three-compartment area have shifted; observed food splash on wall by the tea urn.

Starbucks Coffee, 12121 W. Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed some flies in the facility; door on the refrigerator unit at drive-thru with the juice concentrates does not form a tight seal; inside reach-in low boy coolers and fan guards inside coolers need cleaning; spilled souring milk found inside the upright reach-in in the back.

Sonic Drive-In Restaurant, 11250 W. Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: person in charge was unable to name the “big six” or their associated symptoms; observed a black substance on the edge of the ice machine’s interior plate; observed a torn gasket in the beverage air reach-in unit; metal rack over the three-compartment sink is rusty; walk-in fan guards are dusty; observed rust and chipping pain on ceiling vents.

Chuck E Cheese, 9030 W. Broad Street – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

Tuckaway—Barony II Child Development Center, 3331 Barony Crescent – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: the facility does not have a certified food protection manager; observed a hole in the wall by the three-compartment sink; floor and pipes under the three-compartment sink need cleaning; observed mildew on mop room wall; mop room floor needs cleaning.

MOD Pizza, 8671 Quioccasin Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: observed an employee touch shirt after washing hands and put on gloves before handling food; low boy unit on the line has a torn gasket; observed baseboard coming off under the three-compartment sink.
