Comfort Suites, 4051 Innslake Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: cabinet interiors throughout the kitchen are cracked, chipped and discolored; person in charge could not locate sanitizer test strips for the three-compartment sink; ceiling tiles in the kitchen are not smooth and easily cleanable.

Hampton Inn & Suites Glenside, 5406 Glenside Drive – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: facility does not have a certified food protection manager.

A Child’s Place Preschool & Child Care Center, 11155 Ridgefield Parkway – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility does not have a certified food protection manager; floor has been compromised due to a leak.

Greenwood Elementary School, 10960 Greenwood Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: handsink in dish room is missing paper towels; final rinse temperature at high temperature dish machine is not hot enough; temperature of cheeseburgers in the hot box warmer is too low; chocolate and white milk containers in walk-in cooler have elevated temperatures; observed heavily scratched cutting boards on shelf below prep table; observed low grouting in the back kitchen.

Echo Lake Elementary School, 5200 Francistown Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed boxes of food stored on the dry storage and walk-in freezer floors; leak found at the three-compartment sink; handsink near the office has a clogged drain.

Tokyo Japanese Express, 10101 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed raw shell eggs stored incorrectly over produce in the reach-in unit; chicken in prep unit had an elevated temperature; observed mouse droppings in the storage space beneath handsink; observed one dead cockroach in the food prep area; no sanitizer strips present; front cabinets are in disrepair; kitchen needs cleaning, especially under the cook line.

Classic’s, 4820 Williamsburg Road – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

Hondo’s, 4120-B Cox Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperature of the cook line handsink was not hot enough; facility was unable to locate a parasite destruction letter from the salmon provider; observed back and pink moldy substance inside the ice machine; chicken salad, lump crab and cheeses in the two-door low boy had elevated temperatures; unsalted butter in prep top had an elevated temperature because it had been left out; chicken salad and cream corn were past the expiration date; observed unlabeled spray and squeeze bottles in the kitchen; observed mini tank of propane incorrectly stored near food; internal thermometer for monitoring ambient air temperature in the reach-in unit is missing; bulk bins of white powder ingredients were not labeled; observed foods stored incorrectly on the floor under racks in the walk-in freezer; multiple refrigerator gaskets are torn; racks in multiple refrigerators are rusty; cutting boards throughout the kitchen are heavily stained and scratched; observed a fryer basket hanging at the three-compartment sink with broken wires; silicone spatulas are torn; observed build-up of grease and other debris on exteriors of cooking equipment; observed heavy dust build-up around ceiling vents in the kitchen; floor under cook line is soiled; walls in various locations throughout the kitchen are stained.

Brookland Middle School, 9200 Lydell Drive – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

Embassy Suites Richmond, 2925 Emerywood Parkway – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed torn gasket in low boy unit on the cook line and walk-in cooler; reach in units in back kitchen have rusty racks; observed debris under fryer on cook line, on shelves and inside oven on cook line; debris found outside of tilt skillet in prep area, outside of metal pans in prep area, on shelf under prep table and inside reach-in freezer in back kitchen on cook line; handsink is slow to drain in the dish area; observed leak under three-compartment sink in back kitchen; observed low grouting throughout the kitchen and chipped paint on walls on service line; observed cracked light shield in ceiling corner of mopsink area in back kitchen.
