Zoës Kitchen, 1601 Willow Lawn Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed watermelon fruit mix, pasta, cauliflower rice, spinach and spring mix in prep top unit at elevated temperatures; observed improper cooling methods for lettuce, roasted vegetables and orzo; multiple cutting boards in back kitchen are heavily scratched/stained; observed torn gasket in low boy unit on cook line and rusty racks above three-compartment sink in back kitchen; debris found on racks, on top of dish machine in the dish area, and in shelves in self-service drink station in front of house; observed leak under prep sink in the back; low grouting found throughout the back kitchen; observed stains on wall and debris on floors in the dish area, under ice machine and reach-in freezer in back kitchen, and in front service line.
JULY 28
Kroger, 1601 Willow Lawn Drive – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: observed wet nesting of metal pans on a clean rack in the dish area; sprayer nozzle under pressure next to three-compartment sink is without backflow; observed holes in the ceiling of dish area; observed low grouting on floors throughout the facility.

Tee Care 4 U Academy, 6029 Nine Mile Road – No violations reported during a routine inspection.
Saladworks, 7000 Forest Avenue – No violations reported during a routine inspection.
Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, 1090 Virginia Center Parkway – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: no handwash signage posted in men’s restroom; observed tomatoes and leafy greens at elevated temperatures; observed drain flies in mopsink area; found boxes of onion rings on the floor in walk-in freezer; torn gasket found on door to the beer cooler; observed leak from hot water heater; observed mop stored in the bottom of the mopsink instead of hanging to air dry.
Chen’s Chinese Restaurant, 11361 Nuckols Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: raw eggs stored incorrectly in low boy; observed meats and other TCS items put directly into the prep units in large quantities immediately after prep (refrigerators are opened too often to cool foods in that amount); observed scratched and stained cutting boards; found residues on racks in the dry storage area and on the top shelf of pass thru line.

AMF Shrader Lanes, 8037 Shrader Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed single-service fry boats uninverted or not covered on front service line; racks and fan guards in walk-in are dusty and with debris; cold water not working at back handsink; observed stains on the walls in back kitchen and storage hall.
