JUNE 10
Sedona Taphouse, 5312 Wyndham Forest Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: dried residues observed on ladles hanging at 3C sink in the kitchen; dirty can opener blade and ice machine interior plate; queso fresco observed at improper temperature; wiping cloths were stored in sanitizer that was below 150 ppm; cutting boards were deeply scratched; soda dispenser exterior on front line entryway had a black build up; flooring around the cook line floor was worn and ceiling vents were rusted.
Frida’s Mexican Restaurant, 910 E. Parham Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: containers of sauce two days past expiration date; spray bottle observed with no label; onions and other food observed on the WIC floor; missing floor tiles and low grout observed in back of kitchen.
Tiki Tiki, 8917 Patterson Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: make table that supports cookline had elevated temperatures, and scallops, shrimp and fried rice were observed at incorrect temperatures; cans of veggies were observed on walk-in floor; linen found covering chicken in walk-in; loose tiles observed on storeroom floor; storeroom ceiling was not smooth and cleanable and floor was soiled.
Cheeburger Cheeburger/Sam Adams, Richmond International Airport Concourse B – No violations reported during a routine inspection.
Chipotle Mexican Grill, 5300 Wyndham Forest Drive – No violations reported during a routine inspection.
Burger King, 4240 Pouncey Tract Road – The following violation was reported during routine inspection: individual containers of milk 11 days past expiration date.
Fu Jian Chinese Restaurant, 9720 Gayton Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: can of WD-40 improperly stored on food shelf; containers of MSG and baking soda were unlabeled; observed cardboard being reused for storage in freezers.
Caribou Coffee, Richmond International Airport Concourse B – No violations reported during a routine inspection.
Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen, 11800 W. Broad Street – The following violations were reported during follow-up inspection: observed openings in back exit door that could be possible pest entry points; observed cracked plastic lexan containers at the crepe station; pizza station refrigerator not consistently maintaining food temperatures; torn gaskets observed at the walk-in and lowboy unit on the cook line; cutting boards were heavily scratched; observed light out on the cookout, low grout in some areas and chipped paint near cook line; missing ceiling tiles in water heater room and a cracked floor tile in WIC.
JUNE 11
Little Caesars, 1547 N. Parham Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: lacked a certified food protection manager certificate; employee restroom didn’t have paper towels; marinara sauce observed at incorrect temperature; pizzas prepped and placed on racks were at an incorrect temperature because no timers were set; observed sanitizer levels at greater than 400ppm on shelf in prep area; marinara and crazy sauce not cooled properly; observed debris on racks, shelves, bottom of reach-in freezer and bottom of hot holding units through the facility; observed debris and stains on floors and walls throughout the facility; low grouting in WIC and back kitchen need repairing.
Butler’s Unique Catering, 8903-E Three Chopt Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed debris on stored utensils; uncrispy bacon observed at incorrect temperature; observed broken/chipped edge near ice machine; racks in back kitchen, shelves in front kitchen, inside oven in front kitchen and top of dish machine in need of cleaning; observed leak at faucet at three-compartment sink in back kitchen and handsink was slow to drain in front kitchen; observed holes in the ceiling near mopsink area and low grouting throughout; observed fryer basket stored incorrectly.
Café O Happy, 9960 Mayland Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: insufficient chlorine in sanitizer sink; observed boiled egg at incorrect temperature; observed cracked plastic containers; oven interior needs cleaning.
Trak’s Gyro & Burgers, 9115 Quioccasin Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: lacked a certified food protection manager certificate; raw gyro, fish and eggs stored incorrectly; observed debris on can opener blade in service station; observed lasagna, mozzarella and tomato sauce at incorrect temperatures; chili and feta cheese did not have dates; observed alfredo cans stored on the floor in service station and oil stored on the floor near back exit; single service items in the kitchen not stored properly; observed cracked lexan pans, torn gaskets on multiple units and ice accumulation in reach-in freezer; observed debris outside of ovens (bread and pizza), in between equipment on cook line, behind slicer in service station, and on top of knife holder in back kitchen; observed hole in the wall under three-compartment sink and chipping paint near restrooms; observed debris on service station floor and dust on wall vent next to restroom; observed panini press not stored correctly.
JUNE 15
Wendy’s, 8300 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed working container of salt with no label; observed hole in the metal shelf beneath registers and gaps in the hood filter system.
O’Charley’s Restaurant, 9927 Mayland Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: blanched broccoli piled too high and salad unit had elevated temperatures; boiled eggs, cut tomatoes and blue cheese observed at incorrect temperatures; sliced turkey not chilled quickly before being placed on line; observed unlabeled sugar bin; drip trays, refrigerator gaskets and exterior of pasta pot in upright freezer were dirty; floor drains in kitchen and bar, mopsink, ceiling vents, cookline wall and exterior of WI door were dirty; observed condensate leak from ceiling near WI door and exposed spray foam around soda lines/bags in a box; observed broken mopsink tile and loose stainless steel panel in mop area; observed missing grout in kitchen floors.
