Zaxby’s, 5816 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: men’s restroom doesn’t have paper towels; temperatures of chicken wings and boneless wings are too low; bulk container of flour is unlabeled; mop sink frame is broken; observed dried food debris on storage racks in walk-in cooler; mold found on cooler door gaskets throughout kitchen; food debris found inside reach-in coolers; y-valve at mop sink doesn’t have a backflow prevention device installed; outdoor dumpster lids were left open; ceiling tile near ventilation is dusty.
Edward’s Catering, 8308 Fredonia Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: no handwash signgage is posted at kitchen hand sink; dried food debris found inside microwave; can of pesticide is stored with cleaning supplies; observed dried food stains and residue on kitchen cabinets.

Murat's Institute & Café, 12456 Gayton Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: dish machine isn’t reaching the required temperature as measured on the dish plate temp tester; observed dust and food debris buildup on coffee makers, toaster, dish drain rack, knife holder, and inside reach-in cooler and freezer.

The Fishin’ Pig, 4028-J Cox Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility couldn’t provide written procedures for cleaning up vomit or diarrhea; large ice machine in kitchen has black specks covering the rim of the front-facing interior shield; temperature of crab cake as it came off the grill is too low; temperature of pulled pork in the warmer is too low; a container of tuna fillets was thawed while still in original reduced oxygen packaging; three bulk bins in dry ingredients storage area are unlabeled; gasket liners are torn on small chest freezer and lowboy in back of kitchen and freezer chest in bar area; all fryer baskets have broken metal pieces; facility couldn’t provide chloride test strips for the dishwasher; mop isn’t hung or inverted to air dry.
Osaka Sushi, 5023 Huguenot Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: no handwash signage is posted at hand sinks in bar or sushi bar; temperature of teriyaki sauce in hot well is too low; dumplings are stored above fill line in prep unit; temperature of cream cheese in sushi lowboy is elevated; cream cheese wrapped in plastic wrap isn’t date marked throughout kitchen; ice bins at server station and bar are uncovered; a big bucket of lettuce is soaking in water directly on walk-in cooler floor; walk-in cooler racks are rusty; storage rack shelf liners have chipping edges; chest freezer lid has chipping paint and sides of bottom are chipping away; observed dust buildup on fan grate in walk-in cooler.
Scott’s Shawarma, 5401 Glenside Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: front hand sink doesn’t have paper towels; containers of house-made garlic sauce and eggplant spread are not date marked; rice scoop is stored with handle resting inside rice cooker; falafel is stored in non-food grade plastic to-go bags; cardboard is being used to line shelves in walk-in freezer; observed dust and grease buildup on pipes behind cook line equipment and on sides of cook line equipment; ceiling vents are dusty; there is grease buildup underneath cook line equipment.
Caffe Colao, 8901 Patterson Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: raw bacon is stored over ready-to-eat foods in reach-in cooler; employee failed to sanitize cutting board and bowls; ground beef in reach-in cooler is past its expiration date; salmon is thawing while still in reduced oxygen packaging.
Pho Saigon, 10190 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: employees failed to wash hands when necessary (after touching face and clothes and after handling dirty dishes); scrub brushes found in hand sink; observed residue on ice plate of ice machine; temperature of several containers of lettuce on prep surfaces are elevated; raw chicken and pork are thawing in water buckets on the floor; several containers of food are stored directly on walk-in floor; small cutting boards are deeply scratched and stained; observed grease and food residue underneath kitchen equipment.
Papa John’s Pizza, 9038 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: can of sauce on shelf is dented; racks in reach-in cooler are dirty; oven fan guards are dusty; observed trash and food debris on the ground at dumpsters; cardboard dumpster is overflowing; lid of other dumpster was left open.

Pho 79, 6909 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: food is stored uncovered in the walk-in cooler; dried food debris found inside microwave and on blender bases; wire storage racks throughout kitchen are rusty; long cutting boards on make tables are stained and scored; observed grease residue on sides of hot line cooking equipment; reach-in cooler door gaskets are dirty and moldy; dried food stains found on walls throughout the kitchen; observed grease buildup on hood system filters.
Little Angela’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, 10246 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: person in charge couldn’t provide employee health policy or written procedures for cleaning up vomit and diarrhea; bar hand sink doesn’t have hand soap; ice machine is draining into the hand sink; dried food found on meat slicer blade; observed residue inside soda nozzles at bar; temperature of garlic in oil on prep table is elevated; no date marks found on pizza sauce, sliced cheese, deli meat, lasagna, garlic in oil, and other foods cooked/prepared in the restaurant; squeeze bottles of oil and water and a bulk container of flour are unlabeled; wet wiping cloths are stored on a cutting board instead of in a sanitizer solution; clean dishes and utensils are stored while still wet; foil is being used to line prep shelves throughout the kitchen; several cutting boards have deep scratches and stains; observed wooden and metal paint brush (non-food grade) being used for garlic in oil mixture; there is dust buildup on dry storage shelves and ceiling vents.
Subway, 11347 Nuckols Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: employee health policy was unavailable; dirty slicer found hanging in storage; employee with facial hair isn’t wearing a beard guard; leak still needs to be repaired; wet mop isn’t hung or inverted to air dry.
Pizza Hut, 11385 Nuckols Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed grease and dust buildup on green racks throughout kitchen; observed carbon buildup on and above conveyer and inside oven; hose with spray nozzle attached to mop sink faucet doesn’t have a dual check valve installed; wet mop isn’t hung or inverted to air dry; walk-in fan guards are dusty; there is food debris and scum in floor drain under dish machine; observed food debris on wall behind dish machine.
Park Lane Tavern, 2251 Old Brick Road – The following violation was reported during a follow-up inspection: temperatures of tomato, lettuce and horseradish in salad cooler are elevated.
Burger King, 5108 Nine Mile Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: uncovered beverage found in food prep area; lettuce and tomato on the make line are on a time control policy but they aren’t labeled with discard times; observed grease residue on sides of deep fryers and hot holding unit; y-valve at mop sink doesn’t have a backflow prevention device installed; ceiling tiles near vents and hood exterior wall are dusty; hood filters are greasy and dirty.
