Pizza Hut, 9020-B Quioccasin Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have written procedures for cleaning up vomit/diarrhea; dish racks are deterioriating to the point of no longer being cleanable; observed buildup on walk-in shelves; several areas are dirty (tile floor, walk-in floor, restroom ceiling vent, edge around grease interceptor, and hood filters).

Full Kee Restaurant, 6400 Horsepen Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: raw chicken stored over asparagus; temperature of noodles delivered today is elevated (pre-cut noodles were received in bags, separated and divided into reused squid containers, and then stacked in walk-in cooler and double-stacked in make table); temperatures of orange dessert and white-gelled rectangales in walk-in cooler are elevated; food is sitting directly on the freezer floor; dirty cloths found covering foods and on counters; utensils are stored in ambient temperature standing water; old wooden bucket that isn’t cleanable is still being used for food; trash bags are covering food in the freezer; several areas/items are dirty and need cleaning (interior of reach-in at duck station, under front cook line, large pot area, hood, hood filters throughout, fryer cabinets, interior of Midea freezer, chest freezer in storeroom, exterior of chest freezer and upright freezers, exteriors of dry goods bins, fryer vents, shields, lower wall under three-compartment sink, door to walk-ins, walk-in freezer floor, cook line floor and drain, ceiling in restroom, and floor by mixer).

Chipotle Mexican Grill, 8955 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have written procedures for cleaning up vomit/diarrhea; observed an employee chewing gum in back kitchen; did not observe a thermometer in lowboy unit under main prep top; dish machine is in disrepair; did not observe a way to test the high temp dish machine; faucet next to walk-in is leaking.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, 11792 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: an employee handled her cell phone and touched her face and failed to wash hands before continuing food prep; hand sink at the bar is being used as a dump sink; several spray bottles of cleaner are unlabeled; observed employees working in the food service area without proper hair restraints for beards; brussel sprouts were not washed prior to being cut; single-service and single-use articles are stored on dirty shelves and are not being handled, displayed or dispensed so that the food- or lip-contact surfaces are protected; several cutting boards are heavily scratched and stained; metal wires are bending on several fryer baskets; observed dust and dried food debris on surfaces of storage racks, fan system in walk-in, monitors and receipt printers; there is a leak at the hot water handle of two-compartment prep sink; observed food debris and grime on floors under equipment; ceiling panels and vents are dusty.

Mi Cielito Lindo LLC, 6003 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have established procedures for cleaning vomit/diarrhea; bar hand sink doesn’t have hand soap; temperature of refried beans in reach-in cooler are elevated (exceeds two-hour cooling timeframe); refried beans are being cooled in large deep pans that are covered; containers of in-use papusa filling are being stored on three-compartment drainboard next to raw meat; door gasket on prep unit is torn.

Sandano’s, 11389-B Nuckols Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: certified food manager certification is expired; facility doesn’t have written procedures for cleaning up vomit/diarrhea; black mold found built up inside ice chute at soda dispenser and large ice machine; temperatures of cheese block on slicer, tomatoes on counter and meatballs are elevated; unused, broken equipment should be repaired or removed from the facility (reach-in freezer needs a part, front display case refrigerator no longer works, ice cream freezer is unused, and make table is not in use); observed ice buildup in walk-in freezer; faucet fixture at three-compartment sink leaks; trash can in women’s restroom is uncovered.

Firehouse Subs, 8191-A Brook Road – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

Papa John’s Pizza, 9853 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: no employee handwash sign is posted in bathroom; sanitizer concentration in three-compartment sink is too low; observed food debris at bottom of reach-in cooler under make table.

Panda Express, 9100 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed buildup of ice inside reach-in freezer on the make line; observed buildup of grease on floor behind wok/fryers.

El Patron Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, 5990 Audubon Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: person in charge couldn’t provide employee health policy; facility doesn’t have written procedures for cleaning up vomit/diarrhea; observed an employee eating and drinking out of an open cup at the prep line; temperature of diced tomatoes is elevated; two ice buckets are not stored inverted while drying; silverware found stored with handle side down; both long cutting boards along prep line and smaller cutting board on guacamole cart have deep scratches and are stained brown; door on plastic ice cooler is broken; drawers and handles of reach-in cooler below grill are broken; wire racks in reach-in cooler next to make table are rusty with chipping paint; there are no drainage holes attached to ice bin at bar; walk-in cooler racks have mold buildup; hand sink in dish room and handle on water filtration tanks are leaking; cement floors in walk-in cooler and beer cooler are unsealed; ceiling tile is missing in dish room; there are cracked floor tiles throughout kitchen; ceiling tiles are leaking in kitchen; observed grime buildup behind fryer; ceiling vents are dirty; there is mildew on floor in bar.

Roy’s Big Burger, 5200 Lakeside Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed grime and dried soda stains on and around soda machine dispensers; dried food debris found inside microwave oven; temperature of cooked breakfast sausage used this morning is elevated (stored in a tightly sealed container in reach-in cooler); temperature of fatty bacon stored above grill is elevated; temperatures of tomato, mayo and lettuce on counter in pans of ice are elevated (ice has melted); two spray cleaner bottles are unlabeled; reach-in cooler and freezer rubber door gaskets are dirty; bottom shelf and interior of burger reach-in cooler are dirty; trash receptacle in restroom doesn’t have a lid; observed dried food stains on walls in box area of kitchen as well as dripping grease stains on wall behind/underneath fry station; there is a missing/damaged floor tile in back area of kitchen.

Casa del Barco at Short Pump, 11800 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have written procedures for cleaning up vomit/diarrhea; back hand sink doesn’t have paper towels; front hand sink and bar hand sink don’t have hand soap; observed metal shavings in the shredded cheese; raw mahi stored next to cut tomatoes; sanitizer concentration in upstairs dish machine is too low; observed food debris on knives and clean dishes; temperatures of black beans made last night and cheese prepped five hours ago are elevated; temperatures of lettuce, corn, cabbage, guacamole, enchiladas and pickled onions are elevated (one prep table was turned off and the other top unit is iced over); menu doesn’t contain a consumer advisory statement for eggs cooked to order; observed improper cooling methods for roasted corn, cabbage and pickled veggies; waitstaff is wearing bracelets while dressing plates; knives are stored in between prep surfaces; observed broken containers in use and on clean dish rack; gaskets on hot holding units are not in good repair; racks in walk-in are rusted; wet mops are not being hung to air dry; observed an employee backpack stored on dry storage shelf near food.

Bartizan, 4035 Whittall Way – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: bar doesn’t have any paper towels; all single cutting boards are heavily scratched and stained brown.
