Cities Bar & Grill, 8004 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: to-go menus don’t have the reminder statement; chemicals stored with food on storage shelves; single cutting boards are heavily scratched; observed food debris and grease buildup on surfaces of grill, stove, oven, prep storage and walk-in cooler racks.

Brecotea, 9627 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: items on time control in back kitchen don’t have correct times; did not observe times for items in case; facility couldn’t provide chlorine test strips for dish machine.

Thai Won On, 3422 Lauderdale Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed items in the hand sink and the water is turned off; raw sausage stored next to bag of greens and milk cartons in walk-in cooler; temperature of four containers of stew in walk-in cooler are elevated because of improper cooling methods (they have exceeded their cooling time and were stored in covered, deep containers); egg cartons are being reused in contact with utensils and equipment; gaskets on prep unit doors are torn; observed food debris and grease buildup on surfaces of wok, stove, prep, counters, bulk sugar bin, backsplash on cook line and inside reach-in coolers and prep units.

Waffle House, 8400 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: raw eggs stored over creamer and raw onions; pink mildew found on ice machine; observed debris and food splatter on coffee cups; high temperature dish machine isn’t reaching the required temperature; temperatures of ham, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese in unit next to grill are elevated; temperature of hashbrown in reach-in is elevated; racks throughout kitchen are rusty; observed food splatter on walls and food debris under equipment on front line; grease is dripping from hood filters.

Henrico Sports and Events Center, 11000 Telegraph Road – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: no date marks found on soup or barbecue in walk-in cooler.

America’s Best Wings, 4931 Nine Mile Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: raw shell eggs stored over deli meat and cheese in lowboy cooler; drink dispenser spouts and base in dining area are dirty; no date marks found on cooked wings, seafood salad, cole slaw or cheesecake; food is stored directly on the floor in walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer; sides of hot line equipment have heavy grease buildup, especially in between equipment; top rim of small chest freezer, shelves under prep tables, dish drying racks, and walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer fan guards are dirty; wire storage racks throughout kitchen are dusty and dirty; there are several leaks in piping under three-compartment sink; women’s restroom doesn’t have toilet paper; observed heavy grease buildup underneath deep fryers.

Wong’s Tacos, 201 Maltby Boulevard – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: quat sanitizer level at three-compartment sink is too low; bar dish machine isn’t dispensing sanitizer because the container is empty; temperature of ground beef prepared yesterday in reach-in refrigerator is elevated because of improper cooling methods (exceeded cooling time and was stored in a deep covered container); temperatures of brussel sprouts and chicken in aluminum trays are too low; temperatures of shredded chicken in reach-in and sour cream-based cilantro crema in top of make table are elevated; can of cleaning solution stored on shelf next to open container of chocolate chips and above bulk bins of food; queso prepared an hour ago is cooling on the counter with a lid on; single-service plastic containers are being used as scoops for foods in bulk bins; observed employee clothing and belongings on two dry storage racks.

Long John Silver’s, 2206 East Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: dried food debris found inside microwave; fryer undersides have heavy grease buildup; observed grease buildup and food debris on sides of hot line cooking equipment; fry area freezer door gaskets and interior are dirty; warming unit has grease buildup on sides; walk-in freezer fan guards and fry area freezer top are dusty.

Garnish, 8574 Sanford Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: employee observed working in the food service area without proper hair restraint for beard; single green cutting boards are heavily scratched.

Joey’s Hot Dogs, 4028-H Cox Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperature of hotdogs in reach-in cooler are elevated (person in charge states the pan of hotdogs were out on the counter next to the grill during lunch service); observed dust buildup around ceiling vents and panels.

Deca’s Café LLC, 391 Azalea Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: staff restroom doesn’t have hand towels or hand soap; serving line hand sink doesn’t have hand soap; observed fluctuating hot water temperatures at hand sinks and three-compartment sink; one light is out in hood system; there is a small leak underneath dish machine; oven on left side of stove and ice machine in kitchen are in disrepair; walk-in cooler fan guards are dusty.

Classic Catering, 11609 Old Washington Highway – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: did not observe a handwash sign.
