Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, 9018 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperature of sliced turkey in prep unit is elevated; prep unit cutting boards are heavily scratched and stained; observed dried food debris and mildew on wire racks and fan system in walk-in cooler; mildew and grime buildup found on hand sink; mop sink doesn’t have a dual check valve installed.

Wendy’s, 4026 Glenside Drive – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: observed dust and food debris on surfaces of monitors, cables, warming cabinets, grill pipes on cook line, beverage machine and oil catch basin near syrup racks.

Buckhead’s Chop House & Restaurant, 8510 Patterson Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: open Coke bottle found in bakery; employee handled scallions with bare hands; no handwash signage is posted at the bar; observed black growth inside ice machine; consumer advisory on menu is missing disclosure for salmon; there is no thermometer inside the walk-in; lid to flour bin is cracked; several items/areas are dirty (drip trays, interior of small freezer, bread warmer bins, ceiling panels in bakery and dish room, vent and hood in dish room, fan grills in walk-in and floor by mop sink); mops are not being hung to air dry.

Papa John’s Pizza, 551 East Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: can opener blade has dried food debris; insect control device incorrectly stored on wall directly above pizza pans in pizza prep area; box liners are not stored inverted on shelf; observed buildup/debris on back of convection oven, key board oven, coils and wires, behind computer screen in prep area, on cart behind front order area, light bulb covers at hood system and racks in walk-in cooler; hand sink by make table/prep area is very dirty; lowboy reach-in cooler gaskets are dirty; fan guards and piping behind fans in walk-in cooler are dusty; observed flour/dust on walls and floors throughout kitchen; there are food stains on ceiling above prep table.

Domino’s Pizza, 550 East Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: person in charge unable to provide certified food protection manager certification; bulk container of cornmeal is unlabeled; observed food debris/flour/dust on surfaces of fan guards and wire racks in walk-in cooler, dry storage racks, countertops, pizza oven, monitors and cables; observed dried food debris on sides of both make tables; hand sink next to three-compartment sink is inoperable; there are stains and food debris on floors and walls throughout kitchen.

Bubbles and Bites, 6329 Mallory Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: pate is not date marked; sink doesn’t have a dual check valve installed; threshold to walk-in and kitchen step are in poor repair.

Potro’s Mexican Restaurant, 9074 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperature of a pan of rice in steamer table is too low; previously used milk jugs are being used to store margarita mix in; prep and single cutting boards are heavily scratched and stained; areas of the floor in front of cook line are pitted; back wall in prep area is damaged.

El Paso Mexican Restaurant, 3417 Cox Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: beverage without lid is stored above prep table; multiple raw foods are incorrectly stored over or next to ready-to-eat foods; frozen hamburger patties are stored in the freezer unwrapped/uncovered/unprotected; food debris found inside microwave; chemical concentration in sanitizing dish machine is too low; dried food debris found on can opener blades; observed rusty screws in ice machine; pan of salsa and pan of beans in lowboy unit are past their expiration dates; menu doesn’t contain asterisks next to raw/undercooked meats that refers customer to the consumer advisory statement; bulk containers throughout the restaurant are unlabeled and dirty; observed one dead and one alive pests in facility; pineapple stalk garnish and multiple drink carafes are stored in the same ice used for beverages; multiple food items incorrectly stored directly on walk-in cooler floor; knives incorrectly stored between wall and three-compartment sink in bar area; cardboard and aluminum foil are being used to line shelves in kitchen and dry storage; tortillas are being used in plastic grocery bags throughout the kitchen; multiple cutting boards are heavily scratched and stained; fry basket is damaged; coolers throughout the kitchen have torn and dirty rubber door gaskets; cooler under flat top grill is in disrepair; observed grease buildup and food debris on sides of hot line equipment; there is a leak at both dish machine sink and bar area hand sink; there is a large dried food spill on walk-in cooler wall; ceiling tiles throughout kitchen are dusty; observed cracks in floor throughout kitchen; floor is sinking in at the hot line; back door frame in dry storage area has a hole; one hood light is burnt out in the ventilation system; staff personal belongings incorrectly stored in various places throughout the facility.

Killa Dillas, 6114 Lakeside Avenue – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

Dunkin’ Donuts, 4921 Nine Mile Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: hand sink next to ice machine doesn’t have paper towels; back hand sink is obstructed by broom, mop and mop bucket; several bulk containers of sugar are unlabeled; two boxes of food are incorrectly stored directly on the walk-in freezer floor; ice scoop incorrectly stored in bin with handle touching ice; walk-in cooler and freezer have torn rubber door gaskets; a ceiling tile is missing; back door is damaged at base; double drawer cooler is out of order; outsides of white bulk containers and rolling ice bins are dirty; interior and exterior of drive-thru lowboy refrigerator have dried food stains; fan vent in walk-in cooler is dusty; observed dried food residue on sides of cooking equipment; wire racks in walk-in cooler are dusty and moldy; trash can in women’s restroom is uncovered; observed dried food debris on metal splash wall behind dual ovens.

Panera Bread, 8800 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperatures of ham, tuna and beef in make unit near drive-thru are elevated; a food prep employee is wearing several bracelets on both arms; a single cutting board is heavily scratched and stained; observed carbon and encrusted food debris on several of the bread baking pans; observed grime buildup and food debris on floor, walls, and pipes under three-compartment sink; water is pooling on the floor under the dish machine.

McDonald’s, 7527 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: fryer baskets are bent and in disrepair; observed food debris and dust on surfaces of warming cabinets, fan system in walk-in cooler and inside reach-in coolers; observed grease on sides of grills.
