Five Guys Burgers and Fries, 12210 West Broad Street – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

First Watch, 8621 Quioccasin Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have a certified food protection manager; sausage and chicken on the line are at the incorrect temperature; time is not being tracked for home fries; spatulas and scoops found in standing ambient temperature water; to-go receptacles are stored uncovered; mop sink doesn’t have a dual check valve installed; dust is building up on ceiling vents.

Genova Pizza Express, 8936 Quioccasin Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperatures of ham and feta cheese on the line are elevated; cooked shredded chicken improperly cooling in a deep plastic container on the counter; dough pans incorrectly stored directly on walk-in floor; single-service pans are stored unprotected; edge of lower shelves in back is in poor repair; wood blocks are unsealed; paddles are in cardboard; the hot water faucet at three-compartment sink is stripped; some floor tiles are broken.

La Dona Cocina Mexicana, 6404 Horsepen Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: employee handled cooked tortillas with bare hands; aluminum pans are stored unprotected.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, 12010 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: no handwashing sign is posted at the bar; facility couldn’t provide parasite destruction documentation for salmon; bar dish machine isn’t sanitizing; bar dish machine doesn’t have heat tapes or a holding thermometer; drip trays, spray hose attachment, three-compartment sink pipes, floor drain under three-compartment sink, and pan shelves are dirty; trench drain surfaces are no longer cleanable.

Hyderabad Biryani House, 4040-H Cox Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility couldn’t provide food protection manager certification; men’s and women’s restrooms do not have paper towels; raw shell eggs incorrectly stored above produce in walk-in cooler; chemical dishwasher isn’t working properly (0 ppm sanitizer when tested); can opener blade and interior and exterior of both microwaves are dirty; no foods in the kitchen are date marked; spray can of Raid found in the kitchen (only pest control services can apply pesticides in the kitchen); two bulk containers of sugar and salt are unlabeled; food incorrectly stored directly on walk-in cooler floor; raw meat in walk-in freezer cannot be stored in plastic grocery bags; cutting boards throughout kitchen are heavily scratched and stained; cardboard is being reused throughout kitchen, on walk-in cooler floor and lining shelves; rubber gaskets throughout kitchen and out of use reach-in cooler interior are dirty; observed grease buildup on sides of cooking equipment; floors and walls behind/underneath three-compartment sink and dish machine are dirty and moldy; walls behind hot line equipment are heavily soiled with food splashes and residue; hood system and filters are greasy and dusty.

Cava Grill, 1601 Willow Lawn Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: the dish machine is not dispensing sanitizer; temperature of falafel on the line is too low; lentil bin stored under towel dispenser; mop sink doesn’t have a dual check valve installed; observed debris on floor beside ice machine; trench drain in dish room is dirty.

Roma’s Italian Restaurant, 325 East Williamsburg Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: bucket of hand towels found stored in hand sink (hand sinks are for handwashing only); men’s restroom doesn’t have paper towels; observed dried food debris on can opener blade; food and food containers incorrectly stored directly on walk-in freezer floor; light is out under pizza oven hood; fan guards in walk-in cooler are moldy; small amounts of dried food debris observed on walk-in cooler racks; rubber door gaskets on bar reach-in coolers and on lowboy unit by hot line are dirty; there are food splatter stains on ceiling tile above hot line.

Toast New American Gastropub, 7007 Three Chopt Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: slicer is dirty; cutting boards attached to units are scratched; door to make table is still broken; side cabinet to grill top (shelves and legs) have buildup; drip trays and grill edges are soiled; observed grease buildup outside by barrel; wall and pipes around ice machine are dusty.

Cantaritos, 1412-C Starling Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: cleaning spray bottles are unlabeled; cooked rice improperly stored in a grocery bag in steam well; single and prep unit cutting boards are heavily scratched and stained; observed food debris and grease on wire racks, walk-in cooler fan grate and portable fans; the concrete floor in the mop room is not sealed or painted; wall near back door is in disrepair.

Chung Hing Chinese Restaurant, 3053 Lauderdale Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: cabbage and garlic and oil observed at room temperature and time isn’t being tracked; powdered bleach incorrectly stored with salt and pepper on shelf; small containers of white substances on the cook line are unlabeled; food cannot be stored in grocery bags; menus cannot line boxes in direct contact with food; a cut jug cannot be used as a scoop.

Capriccio Pizza, 9127-A West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed dried food debris on can opener blade; improper cooling methods observed for pasta (in deep containers covered with lids); observed broken containers on storage shelf; edges of pizza paddle are frayed; there is dust and food debris buildup on surfaces of pizza oven and hood filters; several ceiling panels are stained.

Mexico Restaurant, 11621 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: cook failed to change gloves and wash hands after handling raw meat and before touching other surfaces and spatula; temperature of pan of refried beans cooked yesterday is elevated; one pan of meat and one pan of potatoes are past their expiration dates; used, soiled cardboard is lining racks in walk-in cooler; tortillas cannot be stored in a grocery bag; fryer baskets are in disrepair; several wire racks are rusted; floor in drink/server area is no longer sealed.

Chopt Creative Salad Company, 11301 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed stickers/sticker residue and food debris on plastic containers; racks are rusty in walk-in, dry storage area and dish area.

Hondo’s, 4120-B Cox Road – The following violations were reported during a follow-up inspection: dish machine isn’t sanitizing properly due to the carriage in the unit; fryer cabinet is greasy; floor grout is in poor repair.
