Little Caesars, 9514 Woodman Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: open can drink incorrectly stored on prep table near dough station; observed oil and dust buildup on racks throughout kitchen; there is buildup inside cold and hot holding units and racks within units; hand sink by desk has grime buildup; hand sink by pizza prep has a leak; observed food splatter on walls throughout; ceiling tiles are dusty and stained; observed buildup under units.

Supper Club, 417 North Ridge Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility couldn’t provide verification that employee health information was given to staff; raw brats incorrectly stored above cooked chicken and other foods in walk-in; time is not being tracked for chicken breading or batter; spray bottle of cleaner is unlabeled; commercial deli meats have been repacked using a vacuum sealer (only raw meat and poultry are to be vacuum sealed on premises according to the facility’s HACCP plan); temperature of lexan pan full of pulled pork is elevated because of improper cooling methods; aluminum pans and black plastic containers are stored unprotected; drip tray to stove and chargrill tray are dirty; floor drain under dish machine is dirty; there is loose cove molding in the dish area; door jam in mop room is in poor repair; there is exposed spray foam in mop room.

Domino’s Pizza, 70 South Airport Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed mold on plastic racks in walk-in cooler; women’s restroom door is not self-closing (the self-closing bar is detached from the wall).

Red Lobster, 4415 South Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: bar hand sink doesn’t have paper towels; raw shrimp and raw fish incorrectly stored over cooked potatoes in reach-in cooler; temperature of creamer at drink station is elevated; container of potatoes cooling while wrapped with plastic wrap; floor tiles are broken in walk-in cooler near entrance to walk-in freezer.

Sushi Hibachi Bistro, 10490 Ridgefield Parkway – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: person in charge was unaware of the “big six” reportable foodborne illnesses and the associated symptoms; person in charge couldn’t provide parasite destruction documentation for fresh salmon purchased from a local supplier and frozen talapia; menu states red snapper is being served but the facility is using tilapia; small flies are congregating near the floor drain under the three-compartment sink at the sushi bar; grill utensils incorrectly stored in ambient temperature water; observed grease buildup at cook line on walls, pipes and floor.

McDonald’s, 4423 South Laburnum Avenue – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: observed some buildup on inside surface of ice machine.

Jersey Mike’s Subs, 1420 North Parham Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: no handwash signage is posted at the back hand sink; temperature of bacon is too low and it doesn’t appear crisply cooked; temperatures of cappicola, ham, turkey and pepper ham are elevated; spray chemical bottle is unlabeled; water in spray bottle is unlabeled; a white powder (maybe sugar or cornmeal) is unlabeled; wet wiping cloths are not being kept in a sanitizer bucket in between uses; bacon warmer on the line is broken; there is dripping stem at back hand sink; a “no smoking” sign isn’t posted.

Nuevo Mexico Restaurante, 10282 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: fryer baskets are in disrepair; wire racks in the beer cooler are rusted.

JUNE 16

Sheetz, 550 South Airport Drive – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

Juice Bar—Short Pump, 2437 Old Brick Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed a jar of sea moss gel from a local source (inspector cannot determine whether this establishment is permitted/approved to wholesale and is unsure of where the sea moss is sourced from); cutting boards are heavily scratched and discolored.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, 5300 Wyndham Forest Drive – the following violation was reported during a routine inspection: observed grease and dust buildup on wire racks above three-compartment sink, dry storage and spices.

Starbucks Coffee Company, 11332 Nuckols Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: drive-thru hand sink is missing hand soap; back hand sink is missing paper towels; observed food debris on surfaces of oven, inside reach-in coolers and on wire racks; dump sinks have stains and a slimy substance on them; observed food debris and dirt buildup on floors, under and behind equipment and inside floor drain under three-compartment sink; the floors are pitted and no longer smooth and easily cleanable.

Casa Italiana, 8801 Three Chopt Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperatures of garlic in oil and chicken breast are elevated; cardboard is being used to level table and under espresso machine; linen is on top of spaghetti noodles (use a cleanable nonabsorbant alternative).
