Short Pump Pour House, 3438 Pump Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility does not have a certified food protection manager; soda gun nozzles at bar and can opener blade in kitchen are dirty; meat cooler on the cook line is not holding foods at the proper temperature (temperatures of steak, chicken, hot dogs and others are elevated); two spray bottles of cleaner at the bar are unlabeled; employee medication and other personal items incorrectly stored on expo with seasonings and condiments; employee’s phone incorrectly stored on make table’s cutting board; cutting boards are worn; a light is out under the hood system; hood filters are greasy; observed standing water in bottom of glass cooler at the bar; walk-in cooler racks are rusty; bar mats being used on the dish drying rack are dirty with dust and debris; floor under beer cooler racks is dirty; ceiling vents in kitchen are dusty; observed soils on bar floor and under cook line equipment.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, 4300-A Pouncey Tract Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: bar hand sink doesn’t have paper towels; observed residue and particles on clean dishes; reach-in freezer is not working; cutting boards have dark stains and deep scratches; walk-in unit on right of cook line has dusty fan guards; both walk-in cooler racks are dirty; cook line equipment surfaces and crevices have debris; floors and walls throughout the entire kitchen are dirty; floor drains are coated in grime; floor of beer cooler is chipping paint; observed some patches of low grout; cook line ceiling tiles are stained.

Casa Grande Restaurant, 10120 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have a certified food protection manager; uncovered raw beef incorrectly stored over ready-to-eat wings and veggies and raw eggs incorrectly stored over salsa in lowboy across from cook line; no items in lowboy across from cook line are covered; observed a cake and tortillas uncovered on prep table; observed buildup of mold on soda nozzle, inside of blender top and in ice machine; level of chlorine in sanitizer buckets is too high; observed a few dead roaches in sticky traps and in dry storage; to-go containers and to-go silverware are not stored inverted; lowboy, drawer and reach-in used for salsa have torn gaskets; racks in units, in walk-in and in dry storage are rusty; racks in dry storage are being held up by rusted cans; women’s restroom doesn’t have a covered trash can; observed low grouting in dish area; light is out in mop room.

McDonald’s, 8975 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: several pans of cheese and sausage burritos and containers of gravy in reach-in cooler are covered and stacked (temperatures are elevated and they have exceeded the four-hour cooling period); observed food debris and dust on wire storage racks, inside refrigeration units/freezers, on beverage and ice cream machines, cup holders, and outside surfaces of reach-in coolers and freezers.

Rollerdome, 4902 Williamsburg Road – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: quat sanitizer solution in bucket for wiping cloths is too weak.

U-Turn Sports, 2101 Maywill Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: sliding door cooler is not functioning properly; facility doesn’t have test strips for chlorine sanitizers.

Buz and Ned’s Real Barbecue, 8205 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility couldn’t provide a certified food protection manager certificate; bar hand sink and hand sink in work station room do not have soap; both hand sinks in bar area and in service station in back of facility do not have paper towels; hand sink at service station doesn’t have hot water; raw shell eggs incorrectly stored above unsweetened ice teas in walk-in cooler; internal sanitizing rinse at high temp dish machine doesn’t reach the required temperature; temperature of pork butt in hot box is too low; temperature of raw bacon on prep table is elevated; multiple spray bottles are unlabeled; multiple packages of beef stew in walk-in freezer don’t have date marks; temperatures of potato salad, coleslaw and mac and cheese are elevated because they were not cooled properly; metal pans are wet nesting on shelf under prep table; racks in walk-in cooler are rusty; multiple refrigeration units have torn gaskets; multiple cutting boards are heavily scratched and/or stained; observed buildup inside soda gun holders at bar area; observed debris on light bulbs above grill, in utensil containers throughout, on racks in dish area, in dry storage area, in walk-in freezer, next to hand sink on front line, on wheels across from fry station, on sides of reach-in freezer, under screen and timers at fry station, and on hood filters; fan guards in walk-in cooler are dusty; observed ice accumulation under fans in walk-in freezer; observed low grouting throughout the facility; ceiling lights are not working properly in dry storage area; multiple light bulbs are out under hood system in prep area.

Crafty Crab, 4995 Nine Mile Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: a low table is blocking access to the hand sink at the end of the cook line; temperature of boiled eggs in open crock pot is too low; cooked corn and a container of potatoes are on a time control policy but no times are marked; mop sink doesn’t have a dual check valve installed.

Gino’s Ristorante Pizzeria, 10118 Brook Road – The following violation was reported during a routine inspection: trash can in women’s restroom doesn’t have a lid.

Chick-fil-A, 10176 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed buildup of grime and/or old food in units on the cook line and in coffee unit on front line; observed mold buildup on drain insert under prep sink; mop sink has low grouting and cracked tiles which are causing water to pool.

Domino’s Pizza, 1601 Willow Lawn Drive, Suite 103-D – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: back hand sink doesn’t have paper towels; temperature of sliced cheese on the line is elevated; cornmeal is unlabeled; observed a loose metal ban on the three-compartment sink; grate is missing in the mop sink.

Morrissey’s Catering, 8901-A Three Chopt Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperature of chicken breasts cooked today is elevated because they were not cooled properly; single-service coffee filters are not protected; ceiling panels aren’t smooth and cleanable; carpet pads in kitchen should be removed or replaced with cleanable mats.

America’s Best Wings, 3075-C Mechanicsville Turnpike – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperature of cooked chicken wings held in a fryer basket is too low; temperatures of multiple foods in sandwich unit are elevated (lettuce, tomato, cheese, raw burger); multiple containers of white powder are unlabeled; cardboard should not be lining shelves throughout the kitchen; sandwich unit and deli case refrigerators are not functioning properly; observed dust and dried food debris on shelves throughout the kitchen; hand sink is slow to drain; observed grime and dust buildup on ceiling vents, along coving tile, and on separating curtain; light is out by walk-in freezer; corner of wall is in disrepair.

Umi Sushi Restaurant, 11645 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: temperature of miso soup in the steam table is too low; walk-in cooler racks are rusty; cutting boards are scratched.

New Asian Panda, 10430 Ridgefield Parkway – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: person in charge is unable to identify the “big six” foodborne illnesses and their associated symptoms; no written information is available; dried food debris found in several utensils stored clean in dish area; temperatures of cut cabbage and lo mein are elevated because they were left out; time is not being tracked for cooked chicken wings, General Tso’s chicken or spring rolls; there isn’t a written time control policy; cleaning chemicals incorrectly stored next to clean dishes on shelf; bottle of lotion incorrectly stored next to food items in prep area; temperatures of shrimp and lo mein prepared three hours ago are elevated because they were not cooled properly; fly tapes hanging in the kitchen are full; food incorrectly stored on floor of walk-in and on floor in dish area; knives incorrectly stored in crack between wall and drainboard; soiled cardboard throughout the kitchen should be removed; observed food debris/grease buildup on shelving, cart on cook line, in between equipment on cook line, and on floors and walls throughout the kitchen; light in ceiling is burned out; a ceiling tile is missing and taped over with plastic; wood panel is missing above walk-in; caulking at three-compartment sink is moldy.
