Downtown Social, 201 Towne Center West Boulevard – No violations reported during a routine inspection.

Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, 4420 South Laburnum Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have a certified food protection manager; hand sink in the front doesn’t have a handwashing sign; bleach sanitizer in bucket is not at the correct concentration.

Starbucks Coffee, 12241 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility doesn’t have an irreversible temperature measuring device for the high temp dishwasher; observed milk spill in the bottom of reach-in cooler in back storage area; wall in the dish area is dirty.

Panera Bread, 9960 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: there is 0 ppm of chlorine sanitizer in dish machine when tested; small dicers on the wall have food debris and are rusty; bowl and plates on clean dish rack still have food/sauce debris; observed improper concentration of SMART sanitizer in sani buckets; observed food splatter on walls in main food prep area, back prep area and around dish area; ceilings and wall in main food prep area are dusty; caulk behind dish machine is moldy.

Puck’s Market, 435-A North Ridge Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: rear door is not self-closing; reach-in lowboy shelves are rusty.

Zaxby’s, 9110 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed an employee wipe gloved hands on a soiled apron and then handle food without washing hands and changing gloves; observed an employee handle raw chicken and then prep food without washing hands; hand sink at breading station doesn’t have paper towels; single-service containers are not stored inverted; reach-in cooler near dry storage racks has a torn gasket; observed food debris and dust buildup on several surfaces (monitors, cables, inside warmer cabinets, green wire racks in dish area and in walk-in cooler, dry storage shelving, fan grates in walk-in cooler, prep surfaces, hood system and timers above cookline); observed buildup of grease and food debris on floor in walk-in cooler/freezer, mop area and throughout kitchen; floor is damaged in front/underneath fryers on the cook line.

Skrimp Shack, 4760 Finlay Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: multi-quat sanitizer level at three-compartment sink is too low; temperatures of raw fish and raw shrimp in unit on the prep line are elevated; ensure time control policy is written for hush puppy mix and the milk for battering seafood; five sanitizer bottles in the kitchen are unlabeled; thermometer in lowboy unit with raw seafood is not working properly; lowboy unit on the prep line is not circulating air properly and has a torn gasket; bulk bins of flour and sugar are unlabeled; metal basket for sifting batter is broken; mop sink doesn’t have a dual check valve installed; ceiling vent over three-compartment sink is dusty; ceiling in walk-in cooler is dirty.

Panda Express, 9100 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: fryer baskets are in disrepair; observed grease and food debris on several surfaces (fryers, flat top grill, inside reach-in freezer, on fan grate and wire racks in walk-in cooler, and on storage shelves above prep sinks); floor under cook line equipment has grease and food debris buildup.

Perlas Pizza, 201 Towne Center West Boulevard – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed slimy buildup inside ice chute on drink machine; temperature of meat sauce on the steam table is too low; temperatures of sauce, cheese, sausage, tomatoes and other items in the pizza make table are elevated; spray bottle of cleanser is unlabeled; shelves in the kitchen and walk-in cooler are incorrectly lined with cardboard; hood filters are greasy.

The Pit And The Peel, 11800 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: front hand sink has a broken handle and the hot water doesn’t get hot enough; back hand sink has a broken handle and no hot water flow; observed dried debris on scoops above the back three-compartment sink; temperature of spinach in lowboy unit under the juicing station is elevated; two spray bottles of cleanser are unlabeled; to-go food containers are not stored inverted; cutting boards, especially at the juice station, are very stained; facility could not provide sanitizer test strips during inspection; observed food debris on bottom shelf of back prep table; insides of lowboy units have cheese or spilled juice; black coving strip has separated from the wall in the back dish area exposing an open gap between the floor and wall.

Sandston Bistro & Shake, 18 East Williamsburg Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: two cans of tuna in dry storage are dented at the seam; observed three wet wiping cloths sitting out on food prep surfaces; multi-quat sanitizer level in sani bucket for cloths is at 0 ppm; the side of the burner where fries are kept hot is very greasy.

Casa Grande, 7818 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility does not have a certified food protection manager; observed an employee handle dirty equipment/dishes and then take clean equipment out of the dish machine without washing hands; raw meat incorrectly stored over vegetables in walk-in cooler; observed pink residue buildup inside of ice machine and shield; temperature of large pan of refried beans in walk-in cooler is elevated; containers of prepared enchilada sauces and salsas have no date marks; single cutting boards are heavily scratched; observed dried food debris on surfaces of wire racks and fan grate in walk-in cooler, on shelves, inside utensil bin and inside prep unit; ceiling and walls are dusty; observed food debris on floor at the bar; two lights are burned out in hood system.
