Junoon Indian Cuisine, 7801 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: a full coffee mug is on the prep table; observed multiple employees switch tasks without washing their hands; sanitizer level in dish machine is too low; observed mildew on shield of ice machine; multiple items in walk-in cooler and two-door reach-in are unlabeled; clean utensils are not being stored inverted; temperatures of prep unit and walk-in are elevated; freezer has torn gaskets; observed food buildup in units; racks and gaskets throughout the facility need cleaning; handle of food processor is dirty; tool bag and hardware incorrectly stored near food; observed food splatter on walls and buildup on floor throughout; hood filters need cleaning; kitchen is in need of a deep clean.

Cantaritos, 1412-C Starling Drive – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility does not have a certified food protection manager; tortilla press is made of wood; several lights are out in the kitchen; hood vents are greasy.

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, 7801 West Broad Street – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: water temperature at both hand sinks on the cookline do not get hot enough; observed food debris on utensils on the wall; observed mold on shoot of ice machine and buildup on drink nozzle; cutting boards on cookline and shelf are heavily stained; observed food debris in units and mildew on gaskets and in units next to the grill; observed buildup in drains throughout the facility, especially drains for walk-in coolers; observed food debris behind the cookline; walls and floor need cleaning.

Rico’s Mexican Grill, 11321-D Nuckols Road – No violations reported during a follow-up inspection.

Sloop John B, 1420 North Parham Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: no sanitizer is being dispensed in the dish machine; temperature of octopus on the line is too low and temperature of heavy cream at the bar is elevated; no dates found on cooked shrimp, chicken or beef; chemical bottles incorrectly stored above straws and sauces; temperature of shrimp made five hours prior is elevated because it was not cooled properly; dry goods are unlabeled; coffee incorrectly stored on the floor; single-use containers are being used at the bar and kitchen (these are not intended for reuse); a non-cleanable surface (linen) is lining a glass shelf; restroom hand sinks do not have hot water; observed a leak under three-compartment sink; observed bare wood in storeroom.

Taco Bell, 11242 Patterson Avenue – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: hot water is not available at hand sink on cook/prep line; soap dispenser is not working at back hand sink.

Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, 9018 Staples Mill Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed employees enter the establishment’s kitchen and not wash hands before handling equipment; temperatures of ham, roast beef and tomato in the prep unit are elevated; prep unit display is showing an error; cleaning spray bottles are not labeled with the chemical name; sandwich prep unit is not holding foods at the proper temperature; observed food debris on floor of walk-in cooler.

Another Round Bar & Grill, 7515 Brook Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: observed small flies around the hand sink and dish machine; back hand sink is not operational; multiple units are not working; three-door low boy unit has a torn gasket; inside of prep units and fans need cleaning; observed dirt and debris in the hand sink; floor under dish machine is in disrepair; observed low grouting around the cook line.

DC Charcoal Chicken, 4909 Nine Mile Road – No violations reported during a follow-up inspection.

Dunkin’ Donuts, 4921 Nine Mile Road – The following violations were reported during a routine inspection: facility is unable to provide proof of a certified food protection manager; front hand sink is missing paper towels; stirrers are incorrectly stored in a sanitizer solution; buckets of white powder are unlabeled; overhead lights in walk-in cooler and freezer are not working.
