The Elite Contracting Group Walk for Children's, formerly known as Four Miles for Kids, will be held all day on Sept. 25.

The redesigned event encourages people of all abilities to walk, run or roll for however long they choose to support Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Participants are encouraged to take part from any site that is convenient to them, whether a neighborhood, a nearby park or even an indoor treadmill.

Registration is free and open to the public; the event has a goal of raising $100,000 through peer-to-peer fundraising to support critical needs at CHoR.  Registration fees were removed to make participation more accessible and direct the focus toward fundraising and awareness.

The event once again will feature the Page Auto Group Neighborhood Challenge.  Those who live in a close community or big neighborhood, or work for a business that is looking for safe employee engagement opportunities, can form a team with family, friends, neighbors or co-workers.  Individuals and teams will have an opportunity to qualify for event incentives and compete for grand prizes like food delivery, CHoR swag and live music.
