RavenCon sci-fi convention returning to Glen Allen April 26-28

Two well-known science fiction and fantasy writers and curators will be in attendance: Ursula Vernon, also known as T. Kingfisher, who has written more than 15 books for children, more than a dozen novels, and the webcomic Digger; and Ellen Datlow, who edits sci-fi and fantasy short fiction for Reactor.com and Nightfire Books and has won numerous awards for her work, including the Life Achievement Award by the Horror Writers Association and the Life Achievement Award from the World Fantasy Convention.

Count Gore De Vol, also known as Dick Dyszel, will attend the event as well. Dyszel began his career hosting horror movies in 1973 and is now the host of horror and science fiction films for the American Film Institute.

Tickets good for the entire weekend are $45 in advance (before April 5) and $55 at the door. Young adults ages 12-17 are $20, and admission for children 11 and younger is free. Single-day tickets are available as well.
