Richmond Raceway will offer free admission to NASCAR Xfinity Series races at the track for children 12 years old and younger with a ticketed adult, including general admission and reserved seating, track officials announced this week.

“We want fans of all ages to have the opportunity to be a part of the iconic Richmond racing experience,” said Richmond President Dennis Bickmeier. “By offering kids 12 and younger a free ticket to a NASCAR Xfinity Series race, we hope many kids’ first race experience will be with us and our loyal fans at Richmond."

In addition to being free on NXS nights, tickets for children 12 and younger are $25 off in every grandstand seating section for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. For details, visit richmondraceway.com/familyfun.

Track officials also announced that Dale Earnhardt Jr. will come back from retirement to compete in the fall NXS race at Richmond. Earnhardt has won four NXS races at Richmond with his most recent victory coming in the ToyotaCare 250 in 2016. In his seven career NXS starts, he has five top-five and six top-10 finishes.
