Purify Infrared Sauna opens at GreenGate

Purify Infrared Sauna recently opened its second Henrico location at GreenGate Shopping Center in Short Pump.

Owner Mary Woodbridge opened her first Purify location on Patterson Avenue in July 2015. The new store is located at 301 Maltby Boulevard, Suite C, west of Short Pump Town Center.

Purify uses infrared heat to warm the body in order to increase circulation and trigger a higher percentage of toxins to be released than a traditional sauna does, according to Woodbridge. Purify Short Pump has five private sauna rooms each equipped with Clearlight Infrared Sauna and some can accommodate as many as four people.

"I wanted to expand sauna capacity for groups, based on numerous inquiries by bridal parties at my first location,” said Woodbridge.

To celebrate its opening, Purify Short Pump is hosting a grand-opening event Oct. 20-22. First-time clients can receive Buy One Get One single session for $35, and there will be tours and giveaways each day.
