Private academy in Henrico names new head of school

Cardinal Newman Academy, a Catholic school in Henrico, recently named Stephen Fitzpatrick its new head of school. He will replace Eileen Lapington, who will resign from her role as director at the end of the academic year.
Fitzpatrick is a graduate of Thomas Aquinas College and has a master's degree in theology from the University of Scranton. He has been a teacher, administrator and coach in several public and Catholic schools in Canada and the United States, most recently Gregory the Great Academy in Pennsylvania.
