Portion of Old Sadler and Sadler roads closing for improvements

A portion of Old Sadler Road between the CarMax parking lot and Sadler Road closed beginning Monday, March 17 for improvements. A detour will use Sadler, Dominion Boulevard and West Broad Street. The closure will be in effect for approximately eight weeks.
A portion of Sadler between the Old Sadler and Innslake Drive intersection and Scotland Lane will close during daytime hours Saturday, March 22 for utility work. Traffic will be detoured using Dominion, Innslake, Cox Road, Sadler Place and Sadler Road. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area while work is ongoing.
These closures are part of a project to realign and widen Sadler and add a shared-use path for pedestrians and bicyclists.
