Portion of Mountain Road to be closed beginning Feb. 26

Mountain Road will be closed between Mountain Glen Parkway and Woodman Road, beginning Monday, Feb. 26, for the replacement of storm drainage culvert pipes.
The road is expected to reopen at the end of March, when Henrico’s Department of Public Works anticipates the project will be completed. While work is underway, a detour will direct motorists to use Purcell Road and Terry Drive.
The improvements are designed to prevent future flooding on Mountain.
