A popular Western Henrico shopping center has been sold.
Merchants Walk, a 219,972-square-foot grocery-anchored shopping center on West Broad Street in the heart of the West End, was sold to an undisclosed buyer for $18.4 million by its owner, an affiliate of Hackney Real Estate Partners. Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer represented the seller.
Situated along the region's dominant retail corridor, the shopping center is 98% leased to a mix of tenants, including anchors Food Lion, AutoZone, and JoAnn Fabrics.
