Sterling Marie Wilson was killed while skateboarding Sunday night along Brook Road in Henrico County, according to police.
Police were called to the area of Brook Road and Magellan Parkway at about 10:30 p.m. where they found Wilson, 27, of Cumberland, Maryland, deceased in the roadway.

The incident occurred in 3600 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike at about 8:30 p.m. Police arrived to find two men suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Forty-four year-old Darnell Lee Porter, of Henrico, has died from his injuries, while the second victim remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
