Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU will host a free, virtual town hall Nov. 10 for parents and caregivers of children ages 5-11 who are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The town hall will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 via Zoom at chrichmond.org/covidvaccinetownhall.  Panelists will include Dr. Suzanne Lavoie, pediatric infectious diseases specialist, discussing vaccine myths and facts; Dr. Rocquel Crawley, senior operations director, discussing where and how to get the vaccine; and Dr. Tiffany Kimbrough, pediatrician, discussing how parents can talk with their pediatricians about the vaccine. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists.
