Patient First is offering what it’s calling “Return-To-Work” COVID-19 testing at designated medical centers, including one in Henrico.
Through the process, employees can be tested as required by their employers, with the visits charged directly to the employers' accounts. Testing is available by appointment seven days a week at the Patient First at 2205 North Parham Road, as well as four other sites in the region.
Test samples are collected outside of the center by a trained medical professional. Patients may remain in their vehicles through the entire process. The staff member collecting samples is equipped with proper personal protective equipment, including an N95 mask, gloves, eye protection, and gown.
Test results are promptly communicated to the employee and employer upon receipt from the outside lab, usually in 2-5 days.
