PAL hosts awards banquet

[maxgallery id="34479"]Former NFL player Mark Parson served as keynote speaker and Henrico County Juvenile Domestic Court Judge Denis Soden served as master of ceremony for the ninth-annual Henrico Police Athletic League's awards banquet April 19 at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen.

Among the 2017 award winners honored were:  Tiarah Williams (Youth of the Year), Beth Manning (Employee of the Year), Chad Vitek (Police Officer of the Year) and Tony Elam (Board Member of the Year).  The following organizations and individuals were also recognized for their contributions:  Henrico County Public Schools Nutrition Services, Henrico County Public Schools Pupil Transportation, Richmond Strikers, and Tuckahoe Sports, Inc. (all summer camp supporters); Rotary Club of Innsbrook (Thanksgiving turkey giveaway sponsor); Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen (Art Matters & summer art camp); and Commonwealth Lodge No. 81 Prince Hall Masons (10 years of continuous support).
