Our Lady of Lourdes student earns 4-year scholarship to Steward School

Xavier Nelson, a graduating eighth-grader at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, recently earned the Debbie Robson Merit Scholarship at The Steward School, a full scholarship to the school. He was selected from among 27 applicants and is the fourth Robson Scholarship winner from OLL in five years. Six Lourdes graduates currently attend The Steward School.
Robson Scholarship recipients are chosen on the basis of academic distinction and extracurricular involvement in areas such as athletics, arts, innovation, or community service.
Nelson has participated in extracurricular activities such as basketball and robotics, served as a House Ministerium student leader, and enjoys math, technology class, and mentoring a prayer buddy each year.
