Zip Vilanova, 35, of Sandston, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

He worked as an asphalt laborer with G & G Paving and was a Sgt. of Arms for Wheels of Soul Motorcycle Club.

Zip dedicated his life to his family, his friends, and the love of the ride. His motorcycle “Jade” was one of his biggest passions. He lived hard, worked hard, loved hard, and made an impact on all the people in his life. He worked every day, rode every day, and cherished every day like it was his last.

Left to cherish Zip’s memory are his wife, Tessa Vilanova; sons, Noah, Lyric; daughters, Kazlee, Eternity, Selena; brother, Sam; sisters, Allyson, Haley, Kasie; grandmother, Saundra; aunt, Stephanie; cousins, Cameron, Aiden; and numerous friends that he considered family.

A celebration of Zip’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
